Close to My Heart Open House!
We are so excited to be starting on our adventure with Close To My Heart.
My cousin Shambray and I are going to have two open houses to celebrate, and to show you all of the great projects and products that Close To My Heart has to offer.
We will be having two open houses, one at Shambray's house and one at my new house.

Come make a card/gift tag, try out some of the products, and enter to win the drawing! It will be so much fun. Even if you don't think you are a crafty person, come check us out and we can show you how! Everyone is invited, and bring your friends!

A Reunion and a Birthday

This weekend was the Thompson family reunion (Jared's mom's family) and Jared's Birthday.
We went camping up in Liberty for the weekend and then went to the parade on Jared's birthday. Jared and I also went to dinner and a movie that night.

Here is the 27 year old!! :) Happy Birthday Babe!

Jackson with two of his "new friends". He loved chasing all of the older kids around. These two were the closest boys his age so he had lots of fun with them.

Jackson and Mei Li got a ride on Aunt Sheena!

Ha, this is a picture of Jackson during the hike. He is such a cheese!

Jackson got a cool 2 dollar bill from his great grandpa Thompson! He was very excited to get money!

Water Balloon toss with dad!

DisneyWorld 2010

We had the awesome experience of going to Florida for a whole week in June.
We were so excited and Jackson was so excited too. I don't think he quite understood until we were there. But he sure knew that we were going to meet mickey!
Be prepared for a lot of pictures! Ha. This is narrowed down! :)

We took off from SLC on Saturday morning bright and early but we didn't get there until after 7 Florida time. Thanks to our layover. But I can't complain because it was free! :)

We found a sacrament meeting to attend in the morning and later in the afternoon we went to downtown Disney. It was father's day after all so we went to the Rainforest Cafe.

Here's Jackson and Dad, building a race car at the Lego store.

Monday ~~~Magic Kingdom Day 1

Then on Monday we went to Magic Kingdom. Jackson was so thrilled to be there. We were all fresh and excited to get our vacation started. Jackson loved the Buzz Lightyear ride!

Here's Jackson with Aunt Hilary, and Aunt Aubrey. We all had so much fun together.

Here we are at the Electrical Parade! Jackson was wide-eyed the whole time.

Tuesday~~~Universal Studios:Islands of Adventure
So when we first got to the park, we made a b-line for the new Harry Potter World. However what we didn't know was that there was a 4 hour long line, just to get inside the world! We asked a worker if it would be like that all day long, and he said that usually the line is gone by 3. So taking the chance, we experienced everything else in the park first.
Jackson loved the Dr. Seuss land. He had so much fun on the rides.

Okay, yeah he is not big enough for the Hulk!! Hehe.

Thanks to the worker we talked to and the small shower around noon, we were able to walk right into Harry Potter World after lunch. It was so awesome!!!

Here is the castle from pretty far away. It is so awesome!! And there is a ride inside it. Best ride ever!! Thanks to child swap we didn't have to wait in the super long line twice. But it was so worth the 90 min wait!

We also went into Ollivanders wand shop.

Wednesday~~~Animal Kingdom park
We were really excited about the Animal Kingdom park because there is so much for Jackson to do!
Here we are waiting in the line for the safari. Jacks eating his apple trying to keep cool in the blistering heat!

Jackson loved the safari, but was ready to fall asleep right after. Ha.

Jackson was like this with his cousin all week! So sweet how he would try to take care of her!
We went to see the Lion King Show and the Finding Nemo show. Both so fun!

This is the Lion King show. The acrobatic monkeys were our favorite.

Thursday~~~Hollywood Studios

Jackson was excited but nervous to meet the "funnies". I don't know why he calls the Incredibles the funnies?!?

Jackson's favorite parts of this day though were the Playhouse Disney show,
and meeting Lightning McQueen and Mater!!

Friday ~~~Magic Kingdom Day 2

Waiting for the fireworks.

Saturday~~~Epcot

I love the world showcase in Epcot. Luckily they have an activity at each world for the kids to do, because making the mask kept Jackson busy!

My one souvenir from the trip was picking an oyster in Japan. I got a large rare silver pearl! So pretty! I was really nervous they would open it up and it would be empty! Ha.

Another favorite at Epcot was the huge Finding Nemo exhibit that included a ride, a huge aquarium with all kinds of fish, sharks, and dolphins.
We had such a wonderful time in Florida! Thank you mom and dad for taking us! We had such wonderful memories there that will last forever! :)
