It's A Girl!!

We finally have another little one on the way!!! We are all so excited, especially Jackson. He is already so sweet and uses a little baby voice whenever we talk about his sister!
It is a girl, and I am so excited!!! It is a bailey 'trend' to have three of one gender, then one of the other gender. We broke that trend...personally I think Heavenly Father knew I couldn't wait that long. :) She is due to come on December 14th. I know...I know...If you are trying to remember why that day sounds familiar that is because it is Jackson's Birthday!! Ahh! I know, I am a little worried too. Two birthdays and Christmas all in the same month!
We just better start saving now! Ha. My awesome doctor has offered to induce me a week early if I would like. Jared thinks it would be awesome if they shared a birthday. But I am leaning towards taking the doctor up on her offer!!
At our 20 week ultrasound, Jackson was watching the tv screen with Jared. If you have experienced before then you will know the part where the technician puts the ultrasound into 3-D. Well Jackson looked at it, and he said in awe, "She's Golden!" (The ultrasound looks a little gold yellowish in color, and he was quite interested in that). So now Jackson has a new nick name for her....first Jackson was going to name her Jackson-after much discussion he realized that would be confusing to have two Jackson's, then he decided to name her Minnie-which we decided that could be her nick name for now, and then Golden-this one didn't stick for long luckily. I convinced Jackson about that one, now I just need to convince Jared.
As for me...there are just too many adorable girl names to choose from. I knew what I would name Jackson if he were a she, but now I am just not too sure.
Well, we are so happy and excited, and now we get to share our excitement with you!
Hopefully I can get our silly camera to cooperate with our silly computer, then I could catch up with the last five months. I have been horrible at blogging lately, but the camera issues and working are keeping me from doing fun things like blogging. Hopefully soon!

Hil's Bridal Shower

I can't believe my baby sister is getting married in less than three weeks!
We had a shower for her on Saturday. It was so much fun and we had a great turnout!
We can't wait until April 7th!!
We used a Chinese theme. Hil was so excited and we got to use some of her stuff she got while she was there.

One of the highlights of the shower was Aubrey's game. She had a bag of items for everyone to remember. What we didn't know is that is was her overnight bag for her wedding night and this is what she is going to wear. Ha.

Flour Nose

Jackson loves to help me. When I started rolling out rolls on Saturday he was so excited and pushed a chair right over to help us.

He kept adding more and more flour to his little piece of dough that it just looked like flour. But he had so much fun!

Jackson's Snowman

When we saw a lot of snow on the ground one morning, we decided that we should build a snowman from the 'last snowfall' of the year.

I told Jackson to stand like the snowman and wave! Hehe

FHE Bowling Night

Jackson's favorite thing...BOWLING!
For some reason he loves it! So we went for a family night on Presidents Day.
Jackson had such a blast. He is very good too.

High fives for mom's strike!
Jackson just stands there and watches until all the pins are done falling.
Guess who won...Mom did! It was a very close game. :)

Happy Valentine's 2011

Jackson was so excited to make cookies with me for Valentine's day. Of course he loved them!
He wanted the J Jackson cookie first!

Hil's Birthday

My little sister's family birthday party was so fun this year. We started the night off at iRock at the Junction. Jackson loved it!!
Jared was trying to get Jackson to try climbing on the small wall they have. He did once, and then he suddenly stopped. Jared asked him what was wrong and his reply was so sweet, "Dad, I can't because I don't have one of those wrist things." Ha. So cute! So the nice rock guy let Jackson pick his own wristband so he could climb. Then he went all out on the small wall. He also went all over telling everyone there to look at his wristband. He loved it, and I loved watching him!
Here are all the girlies.
This is all of the people with 'wristbands'! The others didn't climb. :) Ha.
