Presidents Day at the Zoo

We spent Presidents Day at the zoo with the Bailey Family.
Yes, if you remember it was a very wet day! So much to our dismay the
most exciting part of the zoo for us was not out! We missed seeing the baby elephant last
August by one week! So we go this time and she is stuck inside because of the weather!
We were all bummed. It was still fun though. As you can see from his picture Jackson was bundled up pretty tight. Don't you just love his mismatched gloves! Ha! We spent a lot of time with the monkeys and gorillas because it was warmer in there.
The indoor giraffe viewing area was also a nice place to hide from the rain and we got to see the cute baby giraffe again. You can see him at the front with two other giraffes in the background.
Some other animals that didn't mind the rain were the tigers. My personal favorite! I have always said that I want a tiger, like Jasmine does! This is the daddy tiger on the right. He was so big, and the most awake I have ever seen him.
We also got to see more babies! Although the last time we saw these cute baby tigers they were so small and now they are almost adult size!! You can see all three of them here if you look for their eyes!
